As most of you already know my mother in law was hit while riding last month and they are having a poker run to raise money for medical. So please pass this on and help spread the word so that they can have a huge turn out.

On October 3rd Michelle and another friend were hit on 441 on their bikes by a guy who ran a stop sign and went across all 4 lanes and hit them broadside. The other rider is doing fine, but Michelle has some long term issues. Michelle has already had 5 surgery's on her hand, hip and leg. She has exhausted her medical insurance and the guy who hit her has minimal insurance coverage. There just isn't enough money to cover the bills. The worst is, she is in need of more surgery on her leg to save the leg and without insurance the hospital will not admit her and let her have this surgery done. We are organizing a Poker Run to try to help raise some money to tackle these hugh medical bills.
Saturday, January 27, 2007. Registration at 9:30 at Gator Harley Davidson, last bike out at 11:00. $10.00 a hand which includes a great meal back at Paradise Harbor. We will be having an auction with lots of great stuff which starts at 4:30. There is a trust fund being set up with a local bank for all proceeds to go to for medical bills only.
Michelle and Pierre have given alot to our community and now it's time to give back to them. For those of you who frequent Ralph and Janes, they live in the small neighborhood behind the restaurant.
I would love to see you all there if at all possible. We also are having a "Club", Chapter challenge. There will be an award to be largest participation for your club so the more the better.
